Before you can begin operating as a limited company you will need to register it with it with the Registrar of Companies (Companies House).  Incorporation is the process by which a new or existing business is converted to a corporate body.

 Requirements for a Limited Company
  • The company must have at least one director, one secretary and a registered office address in England or Wales.
  • The company secretary can also be a director, but not the sole director as it is a legal requirement that you have had least 2 people involved in  running the company (London 1st can act as Secretary for your company)
  • Your business address can be your home address or that of London 1st.  We suggest that you check your lease agreement to ensure that it is possible to have a business registered at the property.
  • The limited company is registered as a separate legal entitiy and therefore requires a separate bank account to trade.  London 1st can assist you in setting up a bank account with a leading UK bank
